Summary:
This position reports to the Data Processing Manager in the Regional Systems Administration Unit.
This position works with other members of the Regional teams to provide support for public safety and criminal justice systems and users within FDLE.
This technician will be one of a team that will continue to enhance and streamline our end user management process.
DUTIES &
Responsibilities:
Specific duties include:
Designing, implementing, maintaining, and centrally managing enterprise desktop solutions in a local and wide area network environment; Installing and configuring the department's desktop and laptop systems, agency laptop encryption, mobile phone management, desktop antivirus management, desktop and laptop imaging, asset management and group policy management; and Participating in assigned training classes and performing research to improve job knowledge and performance.

Degrees must be from an accredited college or university as recognized by the U.
S.
Department of Education.
MINIMUM
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; or A high school diploma or its equivalent and four years of experience in computer systems analysis or systems administration or computer programming; or Any combination of education or experience, as described above, for a total of four years.
Completion of a 720-classroom hour program of study from a vocational/technical school or accredited community college in an area of data processing can substitute for one year of the required education or experience.
Completion of a one-year program of study from a vocational/technical school in an area of data processing can substitute for one year of the required computer systems analysis or computer programming education or experience.
Note:
30 semester hours, or equivalent, of coursework from an accredited college or university is equivalent to one year of experience.
Data entry and computer operations excluded in data processing experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Knowledge of distributed processing operations, procedures and equipment; Knowledge of Windows10 and Microsoft Office applications; Knowledge of Group Policy Objects; Knowledge of Air Watch Mobile Device Management; Knowledge of enterprise centrally managed desktop deployment solutions; Knowledge of information security best practices; Knowledge of data processing operations, equipment, procedures and workflow; Knowledge of basic terminology and procedures in the area of data processing; Knowledge of problem-solving techniques; Skills in enterprise desktop software distribution solutions; Skills in Window scripting techniques; Skills in operating a variety of mobile devices and computer equipment; Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical incidents remotely; Ability to develop training programs related to distributed systems components; Ability to install and configure desktop operating systems; Ability to focus on completing assignments and managing multiple priorities; Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing; and Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
BASE SALARY:
$42,776.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
