The Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of the Companys invoices including coding, processing, and research.
In addition, the position is responsible for providing a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities include:
Invoice processing- research and entry Communication with internal and external customers Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
Resolve invoice discrepancies.
Prepare daily receivable deposits.
Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies.
Assist with account analysis and reconciliation.
Provide support to other groups in accounting as needed.
Maintain accurate records of all transactions.
What you will bring:
Associate degree preferred.
High School diploma or GED required.
2-4 years of experience in accounts payable/receivable or experience in a general accounting position Strong organization and communication skills Ability to work under limited supervision and is able to problem-solve.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel Have analytical abilities, teamwork capabilities and be results-oriented.
Ability to work in a high-volume department.
Prior Produce industry experience is highly desirable.
Food Distribution software experience would be a plus.
