Front Desk Clerk
The Resort Specialist Front Office Position is a Direct, Extensive Customer Service Position. The Position requires many facets as listed below:
Knowledge of the area, comfortable directing guests with map quest and maps
Making, Cancelling and Changing Reservations
Checking in arriving Guests and out Departing Guests
Handling guest payments in cash, counting change, balancing cash and credit cards
Assisting Guests with upgrades, room moves, billing issues, directions, arranging Taxi's, answering emails, and guest inquiries, guest deliveries, luggage,
Sorting and Filing of reservations, confirmation and other Front Office Materials, direct mail of post cards, brochures and other mail material, completing postage on mail material
Directing calls to other guests and/or radioing information to in house departments and outside vendors when necessary
Ability to count and take inventory of Front Office materials and supplies
Other Duties deemed necessary by the Front Office Manager or GM
Abilities
Multi Tasking is a vital part of this job
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Must be able to Read, Write and speak English, bi-lingual is a bonus
Excellent Customer Service Skills, compassionate nature and ability to multi task.
Able to comprehend &, work a computer; plus type at least 40 words a minute
Punctuality is extremely important as well as flexibility and able to stand for 8 hours a day
Nights and Weekends
Knowledge of Micros Opera is a plus
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
